Upon arrival I began the AC tune up. I first checked the static pressure and it was passing at .4 with a maximum rating of 1.0. I did a CFM count on the duct work to make sure it has enough air coming I and moving out. This home has a 3 ton AC unit which is a total of 1200cfm. The return has plenty of airflow coming in. We are a little short on supply but it’s cooling the house properly so I believe it will be ok. The temperature split was at a perfect 18 degrees. Blower motor running amps within specs and blower wheel looked clean. He told me he has us do a blower pull & clean within the last couple years. I cleaned the outdoor unit with water to remove all the cottonwood from the condenser and then I took my refrigerant charge reading. The charge looks good to me with a subcooling temp of 9 degrees which is what the manufacturer calls for on this unit. I tested the dual run capacitor and it was good on both sides. The running amps on the fan and compressor were also within specificat
