Checked all gas fittings for leaks. Found a leak at union going into furnace. Tightened union and retested. Gas leak has been fixed. No other leaks at this time.
Installed both 1/2 inch Pex hot and cold kitchen water lines by kitchen drain line in basement. Shut off and on water to home to install and test. Capped of in kitchen and no leaks were present at this time.
Installed new rough plumbing for kitchen, vanity, toilet, and tub.I Installed new 50 gallon State hot water heater with all code upgrades. Installed new Watts 3/4†pressure reducing valve on main water service and set to 65 psi. Tested everything for operations. Work is permitted and will be inspected on Monday or Tuesday of next week. Customer also paid for coil cleaning performed when furnace was installed. Collected check for full amount amount owed for all work performed. Ck# 14332.
Apon arrival I found that the heat exchanger had corrosion and a lot of rust. Informed customer that this is a potential hazard and recommend replacing unit. I also gave customer and estimate on cleaning the evaporator coil.
Estimate for plumbing work. Setting of fixtures is not included in this estimate.
