I completed a complimentary refrigerant leak search on the system. I found a refrigerant leak in the suction service valve. The emergency heat strips are getting 24v to run but are not turning on. The condenser fan motor is leaking oil around the seams and shaft. The compressor meghommed green (good). The 1 pole contactor is pitted. The system is low on R22 refrigerant. I called multiple supply houses to begin the process of obtaining price and availability on the parts needed for the repairs. Since this is going to be a major repair I called the office to schedule an appointment for a design consultant to visit the customer and speak to them about repair options.
