Arrived at customers residence and was greeted by the customer and was led to the thermostat and put thermostat in cool mode and it is functioning properly.inspected 20x25x1 filter and it is dirty and replaced filter with customer purchased filter at this time. Tape and duct work joints are tight and neat at this time and without any visible defects or issues. Refrigerant lines are tight and neat and Arma flex insulation is intact and without any visible defects or issues at this time.inspected 4 inch metal flue pipe and it is tight and neat every joint is attached by 3 screws per joint at this time. Inspected Ez trap safety switch on primary drain and it is functioning properly at this time. Inspected CS1 attached secondary drain port is functioning properly at this time. During my inspection today, the customer greeted me at the front door. They then showed me around to the outdoor unit. They explained to me that the outdoor condenser fan motor was not running. I had them turn the system to AC. I went outside and pulled power. I then inspected what I could, and then put power back in the condenser fan motor started running immediately. The compressor was not running though. Upon further investigation, I found that the compressor was out on a high temperature limit. I did not have continuity between run and start. After cooling the compressor down, I was able to get the system up and running. I do not see a reason why the condenser fan motor might be stopping and not working periodically. I am given the customer the option to replace the condenser fan motor seeing as there is a lot of rust on the housing of the motor and it could possibly go down again. Other than this, the system is operating properly and has passed inspection.

Inspected 16 x20x1 Filter and it was clean at this time. Found that outdoor unit wasn’t running due to bad 45/5 capacitor and heavily pitted single pole contactor at this time. Upon arrival found unit not cooling. Outdoor unit not running. Found contactor pitted, not allowing voltage across contacts. Replaced contactor and tested system. Compressor and cond fan, cond cap within specs. Compressor amping within specs. Unit pressures 125/268, 10sh. Indoor blower wheel is dirty, evap coil is clean. Unit cooling as it should, all ops are normal at this time.

The refrigerant pressures are in correct range per manufacturer specifications. I cleaned the condenser coil. I completed our check sheet for the system. The system is working properly at this time. The customer declined options at this time.
