Customer had us out to her home today to give her a second opinion on a leaking evaporator coil upon inspecting the unit. I was unable to locate any leak on the evaporator coil or for the entire system for that matter I informed the customer of this, and she told me that she had two companies come out here and verify that leaking coil last year. She said they both had to add refrigerant to her system. I then performed a refrigerant pressure test on the system. There was 150 psi on both sides of the system standing and with the system running the refrigerant pressures were 100/171 with a 69° indoor and a 56° outdoor. I went to a customer this morning with the same exact system that we had just installed it and I compared the pressures from the customer from this morning’s check to Mrs. Bowen systems pressures and they are very similar. I had to do this because it is a little cold outside and I needed a good comparison. The system in my opinion is not low, so it does not need refrigeran
