In Fountain Hills, near East Jacklin Drive and North Tee Court installing a new capacitor. Upon arrival, removed power to unit and removed wires from terminals. Installed new capacitor and re mounted into bracket/ re wired to correct terminals. Upon departure, unit is working properly and within manufacturer specifications.
In Fountain Hills, near East Jacklin Drive and North Tee Court performing Fall preventative maintenance on an Amana heat pump as well as a Westinghouse heat pump. Upon arrival, cycled units into heating mode. Replaced intake filters and took temperature readings from supply and returns. At units, cleaned and tightened electrical connections. Took volts and amp draws from components. Checked start and run capacitors. Checked Freon levels with super heat and subcool. Washed and rinsed outdoor coils. Recommend replacing capacitor to Westinghouse unit. Upon departure, units are working properly and within manufacturer specifications.
In Fountain Hills, near Fountain Hills Fairway Estates performing a diagnostic on leaking water in garage. Found air handler bowing to left side due to damage dry wall from condensation. Flushed line and cleared drain line. Upon departure, unit is working properly and within manufacturer specifications.
In Fountain Hills, near Chicory Drive and Sycamore Drive giving a free estimate on a new evap system. Estimates given and pending approval from homeowner to replace evap.
In Fountain Hills, AZ: DIAGNOSTIC- Upon arrival, found unit off on blower high limit switch. Found indoor filter extremely restricted, causing system to shut off. Removed filter and cycled system. Pressures from the system are very abnormal. With system in charge mode, unit is at 272/356 psig. Amp draw on compressor is very low 9.28/28 RLA. When unit is out of charge mode, compressor is making a lot of noise as it modulates until pressures become static. Spoke with Amana technical support. Recommend replacement of compressor and txv. Parts are under warranty, but labor is not covered. Service complete.
