Upon arrival the technicians removed the hall bathroom toilet and found that the wax ring had completely eroded away which was allowing water to seep under the toilet and leak out around the floor. With the toilet removed, we ran our cable snake down the main sewer line to remove the blockage. The cable snake was unsuccessful at removing the blockage however it did bring back some wet wipes and paper towels that had been flushed down and become stuck. Due to the severity of the blockage we returned with the industrial jetter and camera to find and remove the blockage. This was successful, and we found a large system of tree roots in the sewer pipes. We removed these tree roots and the sewer system is fully operational at this time. Eventually the sewer line will need to be dug up and replaced when the tree roots grow back.
