Upon arrival technician spoke with the homeowner, the homeowner stated that a company came out and replaced her evaporator coil for the upstairs. She stated that the job took 10 hours for them to complete, included that they continuously went upstairs and went outside over and over again. The customer also stated that the company was out at least four times for the same reason. The technician began his inspection on the exterior unit. The technician found that the exterior unit is covered in refrigerant, The technician found that the condenser is leaking refrigerant. The technician then connected his gauges to the system and found that the system is completely out of refrigerant, and is pulling a vacuum on the suction side. Upon gathering information and pictures of the interior unit the technician found that the coils welds on the suction line are extremely poor welds and are leaking refrigerant.
