Upon arrival the Technician found that the water heater is leaking from the bottom and leaking out of the pan onto the ceiling. The technician believes that it’s leaking how does a very lower part of the water heater due to the amount of sediment that’s also coming out. The technician also found corrosion on the hot water line coming out of the water heater, as well as down at the elbow. Technician believes that the water heater and this line needs to be replaced. The technician is not an Mold expert. So the technician was not able to tell the tenant whether or not the black substance in the sheet rock is Mold or not.
