In Bessemer, AL working with a long time client. I performed HVAC maintenance on a Goodman GSX14 unit. The maintenance included cleaning the condenser and evaporator coils, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting the blower motor and fan. Additionally, I repaired a clogged condensate line by flushing it with a high-pressure nitrogen flush and installed a new float switch to prevent future overflow issues. I also checked the system's electrical components, including capacitors and contactors, for proper operation. After completing the repairs and maintenance, I tested the system to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Carried out annual maintenance on a Lennox XC21-036 air conditioner to prevent problems. Fins on condenser coils were cleaned with a fin comb tool and Nu-Calgon CalClean coil cleanser. installed new Emerson EX valves in lieu of the corroded service valves. 8 ounces of R-410A refrigerant was injected to produce 10°F subcooling after the refrigerant charge was checked by measuring the superheat and subcooling readings. All electrical parts, such as run capacitors, contactors, and safety controllers, were tested. A correct condensate drainage from the evaporator coil was confirmed. Blower and condenser fan motors were lubricated with Supco SPL synthetic oil. New 20x20x1 MERV 8 pleated air filters were installed.
I recently completed a thorough air duct cleaning service for a homeowner in Bessemer, AL. Using specialized vacuum equipment, I removed years of accumulated dust, dander, and other airborne pollutants from the home's entire ductwork system.
