We completed fall HVAC maintenance on a Trane system to ensure it’s ready for the colder months ahead. Our service included inspecting the heat exchanger for any cracks or damage, cleaning the blower motor, and checking the air filter, which was replaced for optimal airflow. We also tested the thermostat and inspected all electrical connections for safety. After performing a full system test, we confirmed that the Trane unit is running efficiently and prepared to provide reliable heating throughout the fall and winter seasons.
This afternoon, I installed an Aprilaire Model 5000 whole-home air purifier. I integrated it into the return air duct of the existing HVAC system, ensuring proper airflow. The MERV 16 filter effectively removes particulates, VOCs, and other pollutants. I also installed the Aprilaire Model 8620W thermostat for automatic filter monitoring and replacement reminders, enhancing the home's indoor air quality.
