I was hired to perform a preventive maintenance check on a furnace. I inspected the unit for any signs of damage or wear and tear and made any necessary repairs or adjustments. I also checked the thermostat and air filters and replaced them if necessary. Finally, I tested the furnace to ensure it was working properly.
