Upon arrival Thermostat wouldn’t let you set it below 77. Client will put a new Thermostat on. I washed outdoor coil. Client is aware system needs replaced.
I completed a diagnostic on a Rheem A/C. I inspected the system and found filter clogged and the blower set to the lowest speed. The homeowner put dry wall over one of the returns as well. I also found the drain line leaking. The homeowner will remove the dry wall over the return and change the filter. They will give us a call if any further issues arise.
Checked charge, unit was low. I added 8 oz of refrigerant. Unit functioning properly.

I completed a diagnostic and found Fan control is bad and furnace draft hood is falling off the unit as well as belt drive blower door falling off in closet with draft furnace. I informed the costumer this is not safe at all especially with the amount of dust and debris in water heater vent can cause incomplete combustion, high CO situation is likely and a CO detector is needed.
I performed a diagnostic service call on a 12 year old gas furnace. The tstat is an old mercury and the tenant stated the system would blow cold air and went to turn it up, the tstat system ignited began heating. tested the flame sensor then cleaned it out and replaced it.
