I completed a diagnostic on a Trane A/C. I inspected the system and found evap coil frozen. I did not find a leak but I did find oil on suction line at A/C. I added 1 lbs and 7oz to system. I will be back to finish up a leak search repair.
I came out for no cool. I checked system and unit needs freon. I don’t have any on truck. Will schedule to come back out to refill.
Upon arrival I completed diagnostics and found the drain line not hooked up. I hooked it up and the system is operational upon departure.
Client requested an estimate to replace a Carrier gas furnace and air conditioner. I recommend replacing it with a Five Star 96% 100,000 BTU Gas Furnace and a Carrier 16 SEER 4 Ton Air Conditioner.
On arrival the system was not communicating. I wired all spare wires from all communication bundles back to common and found one of the communication wires “A” not tight at all, completely backed out of the lug which was most likely the issue. I do recommend upgrading the thermostat and zone sensors to the new infinity version For the improvements in technology and aesthetics. System is running and I verified an acceptable vapor line temperature before leaving ensuring unit was not going to freeze due to an unforeseen problem.

I completed a diagnostic service call on a A\C upon arrival found system satisfied cycled system multiple times found no issues customer stated his outdoor unit wont run and he will reset power and everything would kick on I told him if it happens again to not reset anything and we will be out to take a look at everything upon departure everything was working as it should.
