Performed a diagnostic service call for a AC unit. Fan fan contacting shroud, bent off of blade path. 8lb capacity r22, txv. Low charge 1-3 lb estimate. In danger of freezing up of charge is not added. Recommend replacement of entire system due to age and energy efficiency.
I completed a diagnostic service call on a Five Star air conditioner. I determined that the bolt in the thermostatic expansion valve is leaking causing the system to be low on charge. I tighten the bolt, recharged the system, and cycled it. Everything operating as intended upon departure.
Performed a diagnostic service call for a 7 year old AC unit. The HVAC system is in the basement and the lines run directly to the outdoor unit out the back wall of the house and all of the ducting is in the floor so there is no part of the HVAC system that is in the attic or runs through the attic.
Upon arrival I completed a HVAC Job Continuation. The system is operational upon departure.
Upon arrival I noticed furnace sits to low, I gave customer an estimate to move furnace up!
