Oil-fired boiler stopped working on Sunday evening. We have a service contract with PFO so I called service number and requested a call on Monday morning since weather wasn't too cold and we could manage overnight with a space heater. Unfortunately answering service transposed two digits in our home phone number so PFO was unable to call back in the morning. When I called again they apologized for the delay and sent someone out about an hour later. They replaced the ignition transformer which had failed and performed a clean and tune up under the service agreement. Heat was restored by midday.

The annual service, cleaning, and tune-up of my oil-fired boiler and hot water heater by BPC (now PFO) HVAC technician Jeff Whitham was excellent, as has also been my past experience with Jeff and Chris (who is no longer employed there). I am quite lucky that the previous homeowner had recommended that I continue service with BPC upon purchase of the house at 8 Cove Court. I was new to New Jersey, and I wouldn't have known which oil delivery and service company to hire. Thank you for your consistent qualified, prompt, clean, thorough, and courteous service over 17 years. I also do appreciate your service plan, which saves me money and reminds me to schedule annual service check. I heard people complain about gas because they can't find good tech personnel to service gas boilers. Plumbers don't always do boilers. Thank you again for your service.
