Our A/C technician returned to make repairs to a Day & Night unit, bringing a new flame sensor from the supply house. After disconnecting the old part and wiring in the new sensor, our tech tested the system and brought the heat back on. Customer is comfortable again, job complete.
Dispatched our Altadena, CA, A/C technician to a customer reporting issues with their heater. Upon arrival, our tech determined that the flame sensor had failed on the Day & Night unit. He was able to sand down the rust and reinstalled the sensor to provide temporary heating. Will need to order a new sensor and install it.
Responded to a customer report of no cooling in Altadena California. Upon arrival, found their old Day & Night air conditioner low on refrigerant. Performed a leak search and pinpointed the leak on the schrader valve. Removed and replaced the valve, recharged the unit. Tested system after repairs and unit is functional again. Note: this is an old unit, 28 years, and should be considered for replacement. Will be submitting replacement option to customer.
