A commercial customer in Bakersfield CA reported that their ice cream was frozen over inside, and that a nozzle had fallen off the temperature gauge. Upon arrival, our refrigeration tech found the temperature control would need to be replaced, as it wasn't operating correctly and keeping the system running non-stop. There was also a section of worn insulation that had needed replacing. Sourced a new temperature controller at a local parts house and replaced the controller, along with the worn insulation. Set the new controller for -2 degrees with a cut-in of 4 degrees F. Cycled and tested system, unit now maintaining proper temperatures and employees should be able to scoop ice cream correctly now.
