A customer in Cypress California requested an inspection of their new ice machines, to confirm the correct condenser was installed. Arrived onsite, found correct systems installed, both systems operational and creating both hard and soft ice. No issues to report.
Checked unit overall, found in normal operation. No alarms present at time of arrival. I inspected water filters, drain line, and visually looked for any signs of leaks. I found nothing out of ordinary. System operating fully while I was on site. I did check remote unit on roof. All is well.
Dispatched our Cypress CA area HVAC technician to perform a site survey for potential air conditioning replacements. The site has three units, one Carrier, York and Ruud each. The York unit is in good conditiom, and the Ruud is old but functional. The Carrier 3 ton for the kitchen however is in very poor shape, its condenser coil is falling apart, the condenser fan motor is bad and the disconnect box needs replacing. Will recommend the single Carrier unit for replacement at this time as the others are in better condition.
