An outlet store in Folsom CA was scheduled for approved repairs today. After checking in onsite, our technician proceeded to the roof and removed the failed compressor, filter dryer and contactor. Installed new contactor, filter dryer and compressor. Pressurized system with nitrogen, used soap bubble test, pressures held at 250psig for 30 minutes. Vented off nitrogen. Put system in a vacuum to 500 microns. Charged system with 10lbs 14oz of R22. System is operational.
Summer air conditioning maintenance scheduled for a commercial customer in Folsom CA. All units visually inspected, washable filters cleaned and panels secured. No items to report, PM complete.
A specialty imports store in Folsom, California, reported that their store was running cold. Tech arrived and inspected several units. On RTU #5, tech found a loose 24v power connection at terminals. Tightened connections and system came back on in heating right away. On the #1 Lennox a/c, tech reset and jumped the unit on in heat mode. Heating started up, called EMS to have them cycle on/off on their end to test. #1 confirmed operational, EMS confirmed all other units are running fine now.
Folsom area technician arrived at a grocery store to start performing full spring maintenance. Multiple day project for large location. Began coil washing, flushing drain and traps, and inspecting equipment. Will return to complete PM.
Sacramento County a/c maintenance tech returned to a grocery store to perform spring HVAC maintenance. Multiple-day project with several technicians onsite. Coils on all units, both HVAC and refrigeration, were washed, electrical components for HVAC checked, walk-in refrigeration evaporators inspected. Would return the following day to continue work.
