Dispatched our Fontana CA area technician to a grocery store to investigate a possible AC leak. The tech found the commercial fan evaporator drain pan starting to leak through rusting studs that had broken off. Recommend replacing the pan before the situation worsens as all the remaining studs are also rusted.
A commercial customer in Fontana, California, reported that their AC thermostat wasn't working. Upon arrival our tech found that there had been a power outtage before the thermostat stopped responding. The stat needed a factory reset to bring it back to normal operations. Also replaced the air filters as they were completely clogged. Site cooling again.
Dispatched our Fontana California HVAC technician to a commercial property to investigate water coming out of the ductwork. Found three units with issues: one package Carrier with a broken PVC fitting for the drain line that will need to be quoted, a second unit that was iced over at the evaporator coil due to a clogged return grill restricting airflow, and a third air conditioner with a clogged drain line. Our technician was able to clear the clogged drain and clean the return grill to bring two of the units back to normal operations. Will quote remaining repairs to the customer. Leak issue resolved at this time.
Received an urgent request from a grocery outlet in Fontana, California. Their upstairs AC was kicking on in heat when it should've been cooling. Tech arrived onsite and began troubleshooting controls. Traced issue back to the unit locking out in the afternoon and the condenser fan motors overheating. The motors are exceeding their recommended max temperature during afternoon operation. Will recommend replacement for higher heat rating motors. Tech also cleaned the condenser coils to help heat transfer in the meantime.
