Quoted HVAC repairs were scheduled at a furniture retailer in Hanford California. Three Carrier air conditioners needed repairs: two economizer boards, OAT and MAT sensors needed replacing, along with two failed condenser fan motors. Our technician arrived with all necessary parts and made repairs to all three commercial units. After repairs were complete, he cycled and tested each system. All units are running normally now, job complete.
Dispatched our Hanford CA HVAC technician to a commercial property that was reporting several cooling issues. Upon arrival, our tech found that none of the units onsite were cooling. Inspected units #1 and #3, both brand new, and found them only pulling hot outside air in through the economizers. #3 also had a loose Y connection that was preventing it from calling for cooling. Bypassed both economizers to get units to cool, will need to replace both economizer boards and sensors. Unit #2 had no 24v going to the control board, traced the issue back to a tripped smoke alarm. Reset and tested, condenser fan motors are locked up. Will need to quote for all repairs including fan motors, economizer boards and sensors. Unit #2 is off to protect the compressor.
Dispatched our Hanford, CA, technician to investigate a water leak at a beauty supply store. Tech found the drain pan overflowing due to a clogged P-Trap and backed-up main roof drain. Was able to clear the clogs in both sections. Tested unit, no other issues and system draining well again.
Health food store scheduled for their major spring a/c maintenance. Tech tested all motors, checked electrical and replaced belts. Recommending chemical cleaning for both evaporator and condenser coils. No other problems onsite.
RESSAC HVACR Technician arrived at a drug store to repair a Russell reach-in cooler that was not holding temperature. Technician found the unit low on refrigerant and found a leak causing this refrigerant issue. Tech recovered the old refrigerant and recharged the unit with refrigerant. Unit was restored to proper operation.
Call placed by convenience store in Hanford for walk-in cooler running too warm. Refrigeration technician inspected system manufactured by Russell and found a defective defrost timer. He replaced part and unit back up and running. While on site technician also noticed the store EMS thermostat for WIC was reading 5 degrees higher than actual box temperature. He brought this to the attention of EMS contractor.
