Dispatched our refrigeration technician to a pharmacy in Hemet, California, for a unit not keeping temp. Upon arrival found that a vendor supplied system was running high temps. Unable to make repairs due to unit being provided by supply vendor, but did clean coils to help bring down pressures. Coil cleaning was successful, temps dropped to expected -10. Advised MOD if any additional issues to call vendor supplier.
Approved HVAC repairs were scheduled for a commercial customer in Hemet California today. Upon arrival, our technicians began work on the store's circulating pump that needed its gaskets replaced in between the motor flange and volute. We had two technicians onsite as the pump was overhead and, for safety, a second hand was needed. After removing and dissembling the pump, found that the shaft had broken inside. Will need to replace entire pump. Gaskets will be installed with new parts once they arrive, ordering and updating customer.
