A clothing store on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles CA reported no AC in the men's area. Our technician arrived and found unit #2 with the controls switched off. Restarted controls, found VFD drive set to "hand mode", and wouldn't turn on when interrupted. Called tech support, walked through settings, rewired signal from relay to compressor and tested. Unit is working well again.

Our LA county commercial HVAC technician returned to a property to complete approved repairs. The #1 Rheem unit needed a leak search and repair performed, and also needed it's low pressure switch, liquid line filter drier, condenser fan motor and capacitor replaced. Also needed to replace a pitted contactor on unit #2. After completing all approved work, the technician tested operations. Unit #1 tripping on low pressure, determined that the TXV will also need replacing. Unit #2 is up and running, will need to bid additional repairs for #1.

Dispatched our commercial HVAC technician to a clothing retailer in LA, who reported a water leak from the ceiling in their lobby. Upon arrival, our technician tracked the leak back to the #12 air conditioner that had a clogged drain line. Accessed drain trap and blew out lines, cleared out drain pan. Tested drainage, all leak issues resolved. Our tech also noted that the thermostat for unit #13 was not in an optimum location to read the supplied space temperatures correctly. Also found the same unit iced over. Shut down #13 to let it thaw, will quote troubleshooting of #13 and possible thermostat relocation to customer.
