A commercial property in Los Angeles, California, received a new HVAC unit today. Our installation team arrived early to disconnect the old equipment and prepare for removal. After the crane removed the old system and placed the new, our technicians reconnected all wiring, drain lines and sealed curbing. Tested the economizer, powered up the system and confirmed cooling.

We received an EMS report regarding a customer in LA that showed one HVAC unit offline, and onsite staff reported a unit icing over. Upon arrival, our A/C technician inspected the commercial Carrier unit and found no high voltage and the main breaker tripped. Determined that a shorted crank case heater had caused the voltage loss. Will quote necessary repairs to the customer. Confirmed with EMS that all other units are operating normally.

A clothing store in Sherman Oaks, CA, reported an active water leak by their checkout counter. The site had a trash can catching the water. After checking in with management, our technician traced the leak up to the roof-line and inspected all the A/C units. All of our customers air conditioners were clear, all pans dry with no signs of leaking. Continued tracing the leak and determined it's coming from a separate area above our customer's equipment that's the responsibility of another store in the mall. Will report the problem to mall management to address ASAP.
