Arrived at a customer's service room in LA to investigate a no cooling issue. Found the #2 thermostat dislodged from the subase on the wall. Re-wired thermostat, unit came back online. Will need to power wash condenser coils as they are badly clogged.

A cash loan store in Los Angeles County reported that their A/C was down. Our commercial tech found that power had gone out to the whole building but was on again. Reset and cycled the system, unit back online with no issues to report.

A check cashing store in Los Angeles CA requested emergency service for their lobby. Our commercial AC tech arrived and found the space at 85 degrees. Upon further inspection, he found the York system with the blow door open and an error on the VFD. Corrected, reset and tested system. Running normally now and supplying 56 degrees. Will monitor the VFD, it may need to be replaced in the future.

Our customer in West Hills CA requested that their dampers be closed due to the nearby fire, causing poor air quality inside the store and making employees feel sick. Arrived and closed all dampers and economizers, ordering carbon filters for the site as well.

3rd Quarter HVAC/R PM dispatched for a health food store in Los Angeles CA. All filters were changed on the HVAC units and heating inspection completed. Upon arrival, our technician inspected their break room and cat area, finding a low voltage fuse burnt out on the Carrier air conditioner. Found that the wires had come loose and were rubbing together. Replaced and repaired the wiring, securing them to prevent damage again. Unit cycling on correctly, no more issues to report.
