An office park in LA county reported two of their AC thermostats not working. The site had purchased two NEST t-stats and asked if we would install them in place of the faulty ones. After confirming both old thermostats were no longer holding their programming, our technician removed them and installed the new NEST stats, reviewing operations with the staff for future use.
An office building in Marina del Rey CA was scheduled for their major spring AC PM. Upon arrival, the technician inspected and tested all equipment, swapped out all filters, flushed drain lines and pans. 4 out of 5 units have deteriorating coils, and unit #4 has a condenser fan motor with noisy bearings and is leaking oil. Existing inducer motor bearings have failed, and the inducer wheel is rusted through causing the wheel to become unbalanced. Both issues were causing the AC to vibrate loudly.
