Our Orange County refrigeration technician returned to a restaurant to finish repairs on their cook line meat drawer. Unit recharged with refrigerant, pump valves confirmed operation and cold controls set correctly. Tested temperatures, unit working well now.
Our Orange County refrigeration tech inspected the meat drawers on a cook line for reported temperature issues. He found the system temping correctly per code. All mechanical components for both evaporator and condensing sections were normal. Recommend re-calibrating the thermometers used by onsite staff, but system working at this time.
A restaurant in Orange California reported a water leak from the ceiling. Upon arrival, our HVAC technician found the Goodman AC with plugged filters and a full drain pan. Cleared the drain line and changed filters, washed out the pan. Leak issue resolved, but did find several other units running without filters. Will report additional problems to the customer.
Approved refrigeration repairs scheduled at a restaurant in Orange County today. Our commercial customer had a Tecumseh cook line meat drawer that needed a leak search and repair. Our technician pinpointed the leak at the schrader ports, repaired it, pressurized to confirm all leaks were resolved and then recharged the unit with refrigerant. System is at correct temperatures again and failures resolved.
Our commercial customer in Orange CA reported several air conditioners leaking water. Dispatched our local technician to investigate. Examined the equipment and found all systems draining normally, pans dry and no current leaks. The tech did find water puddles on the roof, possible from trapped condensation on actual roof. The tech cleared all drain lines, traps and pans just in-case, all lines were already clear. Will monitor situation, spoke to manager to confirm.
Dispatched our Orange County California HVACR crew to install a new ice machine for a restaurant customer. Completed disconnection, refrigerant recovery, water line removal and disposal. Hooked up and started new machine, confirmed operations.
A makeup store in Orange CA reported a potential OSHA concern with humidity and temperatures in their backroom. Our HVAC technician arrived and investigated. He recorded all temperatures throughout the space. Main area recorded at 68 degrees, while the backroom was at 72 degrees. No major humidity or temperature readings. Spoke to MOD who stated the day before the backroom felt very warm. Spoke EMS who checked historical temp readings, found no issues or spikes. Will recommend to corporate to lower backroom settings slightly for sensitive employees' comfort.
Preformed preventative maintenance. Changed air filters, flushed drain lines, and washed condenser coils. Units are running ok, no deficiencies found.
