Dispatched our San Bernardino County refrigeration technician to a restaurant reporting issues with their walk in systems. Upon arrival, found unit #1's evaporator and condenser working fine, walk in #1 had no issues. Walk-in #2 had an iced over evaporator coil which our tech defrosted. Determined that the breaker for the condenser fan motor had be shut off. Reset and determined all other operations normal.

Dispatched our Palmdale, CA, refrigeration technician to a restaurant reporting a leaking expo line. Upon arrival, our technician traced the drain line and confirmed the connections were tight. Cleared the pan and line with CO2, and vacuumed out test water. Determined that there was a clogged tube that would not clear. Our technician replaced the tubbing and retested the drainage. System clear now, no more issues to report.

Our refrigeration technician in the Palmdale, CA area responded to a service call for a salad station fridge. After checking in with the manager, our tech inspected the unit and found that the power switch had shorted out due to a frayed wire. Sourced the part locally and returned, replacing both the frayed wire and the switch. Our tech also cleaned the very dirty condenser coil. Salad station is working well again now, temperatures at 39 degrees and dropping.

Our restaurant customer in Palmdale, California, requested that we replace their old flaker ice machine with a new unit they have provided. Upon arrival, our technician disconnected and pumped down the old system, setting the new machine in its place. After securing all new connections and sealing the base, our technician started up the unit and cycled it until new ice formed. Went over directions with managers, job complete.

A restaurant in Palmdale, California, reported that the cold drawer on their cook's line was hitting 55 degrees. Our commercial refrigeration technician found the Low Boyz system iced over, due to a loose evaporator cover that had blocked the air flow. Cleared the ice and replaced the cover, using new screws, and cycled the system back on. Waited for unit to drop to 35 degrees, confirmed all other operations were normal.

Their walk-in system had been found in poor condition previously, and the entire condensing section needed to be replaced. Today was a follow-up visit to complete the installation, and also wire in a new on/off toggle switch for the fan coil. Confirmed system was temping at 32 degrees upon departure, job complete.

Our Palmdale area A/C technicians returned to a restaurant to repair their swamp cooler. The unit needed its bearings, shaft and blower pulley replaced. The technicians were able to remove the old bearings and pulley, but found the shaft was so badly rusted that it would not come loose. After several attempts using force and torches, unable to remove. Due to condition, we're recommending full replacement of the swamp cooler at this time.

Received an urgent request for a down walk-in cooler at a new location in Palmdale, California today. Our refrigeration tech arrived onsite and discovered that the system had been disconnected from their rack refrigeration system due to the presence of multiple leaks. System is badly rusted. Recommend refitting the system for its own condensing unit and controls, will need to build a new base and determine best power source. Discussing project with dispatch managers and will quote to the customer.
