Very thourough.

Sergio arrived shortly after 8:00AM and was done at approximately 9:00AM. Besides looking at failed compressor, he noticed issues with the condenser fans which he explained to me.

Arrived onsite at a commercial property in Pasadena, California, to provide a second opinion assessment of Trane split system. The unit had been diagnosed with a bad compressor. Upon arrival our technician inspected the AC and confirmed that the compressor was indeed faulty, and would also need two driers. Found that the condenser fan motor was bad and had been running backwards. Condenser coil needs to be washed. Will quote necessary repairs.

Our customer in Pasadena, Califronia, reported that their Carrier A/C wasn't blowing any cool air. Our technician troubleshooted the system and found the unit in very poor condition. Compressor is grounded, accumulator rusting, and wiring shorted. We have recommended replacement of this unit in the past. Will re-quote replacement again for customer as we do not recommend repairing due to cost at this time.

A retailer on Colorado Blvd in Pasadena, California, reported a water leak coming from the ceiling. Upon arrival, our technician found the chilled water return line leaking from a screw. After isolating the line, the tech found that the stem was cracked. As it was not in use, the technician replaced it with a hex cap and sealed the opening. Opened up the isolation valves and verified that the leak was resolved. Cleaned up area and disposed of water buckets. Job complete.

After completing approved work, our technician found the commercial unit was low on refrigerant. Added dye to the system, will need to return once dye has passed through and continue leak searching.

Returned to a retailer on Colorado Blvd in Pasadena, CA, to work with the maintenance crew on chiller water temperature. Property management was in charge of the water temperature, and our technician walked through the current issues our store was experiencing. Despite outside temperatures, property had only 1 out of 4 chillers running, with a 44 degree water temp. Maintenance agreed to try some minor temperature adjustments to assist our store with the humidity/heat. Our tech also spoke to the store, advised them that keep their front door opens all day is not best practice and can reduce cooling efficiency. Measured all space temps to report, will monitor situation and check in with mall management after adjustments to water temp have been made.
