Winter maintenance performed at a health center in Redlands, CA, for both their HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Our technician inspected all commercial units, replacing filters on the air conditioners and confirming all freezers were operational. One A/C unit will need a new condenser fan motor, and one of their freezers has a ripped door gasket that will need to be replaced. Quotes to follow for necessary repairs.
Fall preventative maintenance scheduled for a commercial properties air conditioners in Redlands CA today. Systems tested and inspected for heating season, all wiring checked, drains cleared and filters changed. No issues to report at this time, PM complete.
A retailer in Redlands CA reported their #1 Lennox air conditioner had gone down. A thorough diagnose found the blower motor burnt out due to a short between the motor connection and the plug. Will quote necessary parts for repairs.
Our customer in Redlands California reported that one of their A/C units was humming loudly. EMS noted that unit #6 was in alarm. Upon arrival our technician inspected the #6 Lennox system and found both fan motors pulling high amperages and a discharge sensor that had failed. Will order all necessary parts and return to repair.
Dispatched our San Bernardino County HVAC tech to a customer reporting a strange humming noise from their AC. Their EMS system showed the unit supply 73 degree air when calling for cooling. Our technician inspected unit #6 and found no humming noises, check the remaining units and found no noise issues either. Did find #6 with a 50 degree supply temp, but the prodigy board reading 73 degrees which was the same as the return air. Discovered that the DAT sensor was missing, and that the the board was wired incorrectly. Will need to order a new sensor, and also recommend replacing both condenser fan motors as they are drawing high amperages. Shut offs are intermittent and may likely be causing the humming noise reported by staff.
Returned to a home goods store in Redlands California to complete approved repairs. Two of their Lennox air conditioners needed work, including a VFD and condenser fan motor replacement. RTU #3 was up and running after new fan motor, blade and capacitor were installed. #5 was also operational and replacing the VFD and a control board. Confirmed no more issues seen with EMS.
Another Lennox unit at a business in Redlands needed repairs today, a VFD replacement. After swapping out the necessary parts, our technician confirmed all systems were operational by checking out with the monitoring company. Job complete.
