Arrived at a home goods store in Vacaville California for approved HVAC repairs. On arrival, checked in with vendor log and store manager. RepairedRTU 4: Removed failed VFD. Installed new VFD. Found VFD not operating correctly. Called NexRev. Confirmed my wiring was correct. Continued to troubleshoot problem with NexRev. Found two parameters were not programmed correctly. Went through and programmed VFD to correct settings. RTU 4 is now fully operational. Repaired RTU 1: Removed failed DrivePak card. Installed new DrivePak card. RTU 1 is now fully operational. Checked out with EMS and onsite management.
On arrival, checked in with vendor log and store manager. Gained roof access. Found VFD on RTU 4 coding OH-C. Called NexRev and found that the cooling fan for VFD has failed and VFD is overheating. New VFD has been ordered and is being shipped to my home address. Will notify service managers when part has arrived. Found DrivePac board for VFD on RTU 1 has failed. Called NexRev and found that the board is not correctly controlling VFD. Ordered new board and having it shipped to my home address. Will notify service managers when part has arrived. Checked out with EMS. Filled out work order. Obtained signature on work.
Scheduled the spring air conditioning maintenance for a commercial customer in Vacaville CA. Our technician removed and disposed of all old filters, dated and installed new filters. Cleaned all condenser coils, completed spring checklist and tested all components to prep for summer heat load. No deficiencies, confirmed units were operational with EMS.
RESSAC technicians were sent to multiple sites for a big box retailer in the bay area to perform a free survey and inspection. Technicians performed a full commissioning of all Lennox rooftop units at this site in Vacaville and found multiple deficiencies. Store has 20 units ranging from 3 ton to 20 ton. A comprehensive report was prepared with quotes for all repairs and a price for complete coverage service with full warranty after repairs are completed.
