Our LA County technician responded to a humidifier emergency in Vernon, CA today. Our technician found the humidifier tripped at the panels. Drained and flushed the water from the unit, reset the panel and confirmed humidity settings were at customer requested levels. System back online.
Our customer in Vernon, California, reported that their HVAC unit was cooling properly. Found the that condensate pump had stuck and had to be flushed. Water pumping normally and unit back online.
Returned to an art facility in Vernon, California, to perform approved repairs and troubleshoot their dehumidifiers. Our tech repaired a refrigerant leak on their west vault unit, recharging with 1.5lbs of R410A and testing. Unit functional. AC technician also calibrated the humidity sensors and brought them back to appropriate ranges for each vault.
RESSAC technician dispatched to a warehouse and shipping center in Vernon, California. Their specialized humidity control equipment was spiking in temperature and humidity wasn't being monitored properly. The technician troubleshooted the Carrier equipment, first resetting the thermostats and setting the fan to "on" continuously. Adjusted cooling set-points. Humidity is leveling out, will need to replace 3 inline filters with 3/8 fittings and replace the humidifier canisters. Will quote to customer.
RESSAC technician performed preventative maintenance on 9 air conditioning units for a fine art storage facility according to the scope of service agreement. While on site he found 2 units with loose belts. He adjusted belts on both units as part of pm service. Blowers are now operating optimally. No other deficiencies found.
