A customer in Visalia, California, reported a bad smell coming from their vents, possibly a dead animal. Our technician opened the vent entrances and checked each opening. No signs of animals inside the vents within reach of our technician. Checked the roof and did find signs of pigeon habitation. Recommended to manager to call pest control company.
Dispatched our Tulare County, California, refrigeration tech to a customer reporting that their freezer wasn't holding temperature. After inspecting the system, our tech found that the unit was low on refrigerant and showing an error code on the controller screen. Repaired the refrigerant leak and reprogrammed the controller, repaired wiring. System back online and freezing product.
A grocery store in Visalia, California, reported an issue with the condensate from their air conditioners not draining properly. After checking in with management, our technician inspected their equipment and found that units #10 and #11 both have damaged drain lines that will need to be replaced. Will quote necessary repairs to the customer.
Fall air conditioning maintenance scheduled today at a jewelry store in Visalia, California. After completing PM checklist, our technician found the second RTU with no gas run to the unit. Noted for the customer, system runs in cooling and the first RTU does provide heat.
Our Visalia CA HVAC technician returned to a property to complete approved repairs. Multiple units were scheduled for work today, including two Carrier systems that needed copper drain line repairs, another unit needing a new condenser fan motor, and an exhaust fan that had its hood replaced. Our tech also washed coils on all units. Our technician noted that RTU #2 has a failed breaker at the main panel, recommending the customer call out their electrician to resolve. All equipment operational.
EMS support alerted our customer that there was no airflow to their restroom, found while the electrician was inspecting the site. Our technician inspected all three exhaust fans onsite and found one of the fans had a broken belt and a motor that had overheated. Will need to order a new motor and belt for the fan, unit is down until repairs can be made.
