Controller may need to be replaced, recommend monitoring operations as system is working at this time.
Received a report about a commercial ice cream forming icicles inside and also on the product in Wasco CA. After checking in with the store manager, our refrigeration tech inspected the problem unit, finding that both the defrost termination and heater limit switches had failed, causing the excess droplets to form and freeze. Removed defective parts, sourced replacements from local part house and returned to put new ones in. Ran and cycled unit, tested operations after repairs. Freezer working normally now, holding negative temperatures and water dripping.
