AC issues

Hard to get in contact with and answering service is constantly on during business hours. Requested multiple follow ups from a job and details around the work. Weeks of communication at this point. Technicians have been great.

Great attitude and service

We had 2 different things wrong with the AC. The technician repaired the first problem and the unit ran well but then another problem surfaced. The technician came back again and repaired the new problem and there was no additional service charge plus they did not charge for the replacement part! Great attitude by everyone I came in contact with! I have purchased a heat pump, an AC and gas furnace from Scenic City. Their installation is excellent and they stand behind their work. This service company is great!

Going the extra mile

Ryan was very thorough in his troubleshooting of my heating issue and instead of giving up and saying time to replace, he found the issue and resolved it as planned. Although I believe it turned out to be more of a hassle to fix than he was hoping, he got the job done as promised. Great customer service experience from the time I scheduled the appointment until the time Ryan drove away. Not surprised as this has always been the case with Scenic City over the past 14 years. Good work and thank you again Ryan.

Great Company

We had a service call on a Saturday and they were there in a little over an hour. Nathan diagnosed the problem and repaired in no time. He was very informative, professional and courteous. I received a call from their office the following Monday and was informed that they were going to refund the cost of the repair because they felt like the problem was due to an error on their part from the previous work by them several months ago. That confirmed to me that they are an honest company. I would have never known about the error but they wanted to do the right thing. What integrity!! I will definitely continue to use this company for my HVAC needs and I will certainly highly recommend them to others !! Thanks for being a top-notch company!!

For the gas package carrier 4 ton system. I found low voltage electrical wiring needing to be replaced. A few feet of wire needs to be re ran to prevent low voltage short in future. Heat exchanger looks good on gas package system, gas pressure and inducer motor both where in specs also. Gas package system could use an indoor coil cleaning likely due to long filter change rates. Will discuss with cst about changing more often to prevent dirty indoor coil. Blower wheel is fair, bearings felt good. Upstairs air handler in good shape, says he has put Freon in it before, didn’t see any serious signs leading me to believe it would leak at indoor coil but still likely where that would be. Looked over all motor amperage and compressor amperage, checked temperature of line sets and found system heating effectively. Checked defrost and heat strip operation, both good. Pan in attic has secondary drain going into it but it does have a working safety switch in pan in attic. Could add secondary floa

After inspecting the space, we determined it would be most effective to run the new drain lines with a sump pump system. We will need to cut out concrete in order to run the new drain lines under the floor and tie them into a pump that will be under the floor as well. All drain lines will run into the pump basin and the pump will then carry it up and over to the existing sewer line in the crawl space. The kitchen, shower, bathroom sink, laundry and toilet can all run into this pump system. Water lines for these new fixtures will be brought in from above the drop ceiling. We will need to have the concrete cutter cut out the required areas for us to bury the drain lines and we will need to remove sheetrock where the water lines will need to come down from above. Water heater and washer dryer will be moving out into the other room (new kitchen area,) and bathroom will be installed where they are currently. Bathroom includes plumbing for tub/shower combo, sink and toilet. Kitchen area will

Goodman gas furnace in attic for downstairs is showing fault code (3) open pressure switch. Tech checked pressure switch, it closes at .73iwc . The inducer pulls 1.40iwc. Ferguson supply is already closed for the day therefore tech cannot quote price or make purchase order. Customer won’t be available until Friday. 12/11/23 tech replaced pressure switch, confirmed operation.

Found thermostat programmed for conventional system, reprogrammed and got cst running with the Goodman heat pump properly. They where running electric heat pulling 44 amps for heat. Now system running a total of 10 amps inside and outside for heat so electric bill should reflect such.found dirty evaporator coil, talked witch renter about air filter importeance, tested defrost, checked electrical and emptied p trap gunk so it could drain properly when it needs in summer again. System running good after getting settings right.

After performing our performance and safety evaluation of your system, I was able to determine what caused the breakdown and come up with some solutions to not only fix it, but help keep it from happening again. This option will give you two maintenances a year to help you stay on top of repairs and keep your system lasting years longer compared to systems that go without yearly cleanings. This option would give you a coil cleaning which is needed badly on the outdoor condenser as it is filthy right now. That alone would improve efficiency and life of system. On top of that we would look over and check everything that could possibly fail and give you a heads up if a part is weak or doing something it shouldn’t and with it being newer system we can catch it within its warranty period. Highly suggest moving forward with protection plan. One heat maintenance and one cool maintenance with coil cleaning is included for this. Need to schedule return visit for full evaluation.

Any changes will require a time and material change order to be submitted and approved before the additional work begins. Move toilet flange to the right to 18” center with offset flange. Install toilet flanges everywhere else so flooring guys can lay flooring. X6 all 4” Tie in main water line from street to stub down from inside needs trenched and buried. Tie in both yard hydrants, one in back yard, one in greenhouse. Tie in both drain lines and tie into stub up requires running an additional 80’ of 3” pvc. Tie in new buildings water line to existing meter set. Tie in drain line to sewer with permit from WWTA. 8k sq ft building with 50 people. Possibly dig up drain main for inspection. Take a video of sewer main with camera for inspector. Already passed rough in inspection. Wants to possibly run the vents out the side horizontally instead of up an out the roof. They are plumbed to go up and out, running them horizontal will require to rebuild them all and inspector approval as it is n
