Installing a 2 inch emergency gas shut off that is in compliance of city and state code. After installing the emergency earthquake valve, we checked for any gas leaks and did not have any. After checking for leaks, we had the maintenance man turn on the boilers inside to make sure gas was running into the building. He confirmed that then machines that require gas were functioning. The maintenance man was instructed how to reset the valve if there was an earthquake to set it off, he also asked if he could keep the instructions that came with the earthquake valve.
