People share horror stories about contractors, but I experienced a fantasy-like experience. Gary and team were the second team to take a run at a period-appropriate remodel of my 1930s home. They were courteous, conscientious, brought the highest-quality workers and created a home I’m delighted with (they fully remodeled four bathrooms with miles of intricate tile work). Where there were “surprises,” they were never of Gary’s making and he and the Schuelke team always help me do things the right way (I plan for this to be my “forever home.”). I cannot recommend them more highly. I’m delighted!

Had a leak causing mold. Wanted it fixed asap. These guys did a good job. But it was way too much $. I regret not negotiating for a better deal or getting a second opinion.

Snaked toilet and pulled out large amounts of toilet paper. Flushed several times and everything was draining properly
Customer has mold growth occurring to ceiling in garage. Recommend performing proper mitigation Removed a 4’ x8’5” section from garage ceiling to perform mold remediation
Performed inspection of existing 75 gallon water heater. Inspected venting, draft for venting, gas supply as well as wires and everything appears to be working properly. Re lit water heater and waited approximately 45 min and everything was running properly until at about 55 min the water heater made a loud pop and then a flame rollout occurred. This usually is an indicator that the water heater needs to be replaced . Previous plumber had already replaced gas control valve and thermocouple which leaves burner assembly the only thing left to be replaced. If customer does not want to replace water heater we can attempt to replace burner assembly and cleaning out debris on bottom of water heater to see if that addresses the issue. But cannot guarantee . Replaced burner assembly and re lit water heater. Waited for approximately 1 hour and everything appeared to be working properly
Performed camera inspection of sewer main via mainline cleanout located in backyard. Ran camera all the way to city sewer and majority of the sewer line appeared to be in good condition. Only area of concern found was approximately 50’ downstream from cleanout where the top of the clay sewer main appeared to be missing. Recommend digging up this section and performing repair to avoid future issues and clogs.
Performed leak detection and manifold locating and found the following. Customer has a slab leak on half inch copper line where line is encased in the concrete. Line feeds hallway bathroom. Recommend performing re route of line as opposed to direct access
Performed camera work and found 3” thin wall abs pipe was badly damaged at the bottom of the cleanout. Performed spot repair and repaired the damaged pipe. Performed additional camera inpection and found about 50’ of pipe that was cracked with heavy root intrusion. Will performed sewer replacemngt using pipebursting method. Customer financed through Enerbank Auth#3450317271
Got called out due to broken pipe in yard after hours. Arrived and realized pipe had multiple leaks and both 1/2 and 3/4 lines where leaking. Dug up and replaced approximately 15' of PEX pipe. Both 1/2" and 3/4" pipes are in poor condition and recommend replacing in near future.
Cusuomer has mold growth occurring in downstairs bathroom as a result of in proper ventilation. Recommend performing a full mold treatment as well as installation of exhaust fan to aid in the proper ventilation to help prevent future mold growth

Existing cleanout plug for bathroom sink was damaged and leaking. Removed plug and added new abs plug
Customer has sever water damage to master bathroom and surrounding walls due to a burst pipe. Recommend performing proper mitigation to avoid further issues. Estimated time frame of project is subject to change depending on several factors such as waiting on confirmation from insurance as well as any change orders that may be needed to be submitted for extra work. Start date of water mitigation will be 10-23-25. An estimated time frame of 5 days to complete this portion. Includes necessary demolition, and drying time. Repipe is estimated to take approximately 3 days. Once mitigation is complete we can submit final estimate for repairs to insurance. Once final estimate is approved we can behind with repairs to bathroom
Removed several walls, part of ceiling, as well as some flooring in bathroom to perform mold mitigation. This estimate is for repairing of walls and painting. Due to the tile panels on ceiling explained to customer we won’t be able to match existing paneling. Only way to match would be to remove entire ceiling and install all new drywall. Does not include repairing of flooring or baseboards
