Outstanding in every way!

People share horror stories about contractors, but I experienced a fantasy-like experience. Gary and team were the second team to take a run at a period-appropriate remodel of my 1930s home. They were courteous, conscientious, brought the highest-quality workers and created a home I’m delighted with (they fully remodeled four bathrooms with miles of intricate tile work). Where there were “surprises,” they were never of Gary’s making and he and the Schuelke team always help me do things the right way (I plan for this to be my “forever home.”). I cannot recommend them more highly. I’m delighted!

Good service, got the job done right away. Overpriced.

Had a leak causing mold. Wanted it fixed asap. These guys did a good job. But it was way too much $. I regret not negotiating for a better deal or getting a second opinion.

Upon arrival water heater was showing code 10 meaning screen for burner needed to be cleaned. Cleared debris as best as possible and re lit water heater. Everything appeared to be working properly. Let water heater heat all the way up and no longer saw any codes

Customer has large root intrusion in sewer main located in front yard under driveway. Recommended performing repair to avoid further clogs. Once repair is performed we can follow up with camera inspection of rest of sewer main to view condition of pipe. Explained if they needed epoxy lining of sewer main from the repair out towards the city sewer they’d be looking at roughly $6,000-7,500. Once repair and camera inspection is performed we can provide more accurate price.

Cleared clog via accessible cleanout. Followed with camera inspection and found that existing drain had large amounts of scale and build up on inside of drain. Recommended performing descaling and hydrojetting to main cast iron drain to help avoid future clogs

Customers area drain located at bottom of stair case had large amounts of debris and dirt inside of catch basin. Removed debris and dirt and attempted to perform camera inspection. Camera only entered approximately 1’ before hitting what appeared to be concrete or some kind of cap. This leads me to believe this drain is not in service and serves no function. Inspected both entrances leading downstairs and saw that all entry ways leading to stairs were graded away from stairs which directs water away from entering stair case. If tenants have issues with water draining down stairs and entering the units the only way to direct water away from units was be to install a catch basin with a pump that pumps water out of stair case area and terminates away from stairs.

Customer reported constant sewage clogs. Performed camera inspection via laundry cleanout as well as kitchen drain cleanout. Drains under home were ABS and appeared to be in good condition. I believe the issue is the septic is full and needs to be pumped.

Customer needs estimate for installation of 6” backflow for fire system. Due to not knowing which direction the lines runs or depth of line it is difficult to provide accurate estimate to perform work. In order to provide accurate estimate we will need to dig and expose the fire line to determine path of travel, material of pipe, as well as o determine what connection, if any we will need to re establish. Once we know these things we can provide a more accurate estimate for installation of backflow. After exposing line we found that the fire line runs under the sidewalk at an angle almost parallel to the existing vault. Line is approximately 3’ deep

Customers kitchen drain terminated on hill side in backyard. Was unable to clear clog via access under kitchen sink, instead had to run mainline snake via termination point in backyard. Pulled back large amounts of roots. Recommend canceling this line and re routing new line terminating into hill side in front yard. Customer will continue to have clogs until issue is addressed.
