People share horror stories about contractors, but I experienced a fantasy-like experience. Gary and team were the second team to take a run at a period-appropriate remodel of my 1930s home. They were courteous, conscientious, brought the highest-quality workers and created a home I’m delighted with (they fully remodeled four bathrooms with miles of intricate tile work). Where there were “surprises,” they were never of Gary’s making and he and the Schuelke team always help me do things the right way (I plan for this to be my “forever home.”). I cannot recommend them more highly. I’m delighted!

Had a leak causing mold. Wanted it fixed asap. These guys did a good job. But it was way too much $. I regret not negotiating for a better deal or getting a second opinion.

The client is converting an existing space into a church. During the planning review process the city required that they add an additional toilet stall to the women's bathroom. The client has a set of approved plans which lays out the toilet stall at the south end of the women's bathroom utilizing an adjoining closet space. The following is a proposal for the work to be performed based on the plans submitted to the city. Progress Payments are as follows: 3 equal payments each equalling 1/3 of the cost of the job. $6290.00 due on day one of work commencing $6290.00 due once plumbing, framing and electrical have been installed and passed inspection. $6290.00 due upon completion of the job and passing final inspection from the city.
Customers kitchen drain terminated on hill side in backyard. Was unable to clear clog via access under kitchen sink, instead had to run mainline snake via termination point in backyard. Pulled back large amounts of roots. Recommend canceling this line and re routing new line terminating into hill side in front yard. Customer will continue to have clogs until issue is addressed.
Customer has a 8” pvc roof drain they need repaired. Existing drain is cracked/ broken. The section needs to be removed and have a new section plumbed in to extend it out approximately another 10’ to terminate it near end of the curb.
Existing gate valve is no longer working. Customer wishes to have estimate for replacement with ball valve
Cleared clog via roof vent. Customer had large amounts of sludge build up inside drain causing kitchen sink and laundry to back up. Was able to flush out sludge. Ran kitchen sink and cycle through washer machine and everything was draining properly. If customer continues to have issues with clogs, we will need to install exterior cleanout on kitchen sink and perform hydrojeting
Customers hallway toilet was clogged. Snaked toilet to remove clog.
Customer had a 50 gallon water heater that was no longer working. Customer wanted a 40 gallon installed instead of a new 50 gallon. Installed a 40 gallon Branford white water heater
Installed new 30 gallon water heater per customers request, replaced gas valves for water heater, dryer, and kitchen stove. Also replaced gate valve for water heater with a ball valve
Master bathroom is currently exposed due to remodel and explained to Customer now is a good time to perform repipe of water lines due to having access of both bathrooms. This estimate includes replacement of all hot and cold water lines feeding the vanities, toilets and shower valves Eliminated lines running under both bathrooms and re routed hot and cold lines above head
Customer is complaining of water building up at back corner of building and causing water to seep into building next door. They wish to have estimate to install a drainage system to divert water from this area. Performed camera inspection of existing drainage and unfortunately there’s no way to tie into existing system.
Customer reports leak in the walk in bathtub. After performing leak detection it was determined that the leak was located in the temperature control valve for the walk-in style tub. Water could be seen leaking from the valve when turned on for use. The only way to perform the water mitigation is to remove the walk in tub. This will also facilitate an easier repair of the tub valve. This estimate does not include any repairs to the the walls or tile. That will be provided by the adjuster after his/her inspection.
Customers toilet was leaking from gasket that seals tank to the bowl. Noticed tank was loose and wobbly. Removed tank. And re tightened everything. Flushed toilet several times and did not see any further leaks
Customer has several drains that were buried under underlayment and rocks. Had to locate the two termination points in front yard and excavate to expose them, as well as one of the drains in the backyard. Appears when rock was installed they buried the drains. After exposing and removal gravel from drains ran water and everything was draining properly
Customer requested an estimate for various remodel projects.
