People share horror stories about contractors, but I experienced a fantasy-like experience. Gary and team were the second team to take a run at a period-appropriate remodel of my 1930s home. They were courteous, conscientious, brought the highest-quality workers and created a home I’m delighted with (they fully remodeled four bathrooms with miles of intricate tile work). Where there were “surprises,” they were never of Gary’s making and he and the Schuelke team always help me do things the right way (I plan for this to be my “forever home.”). I cannot recommend them more highly. I’m delighted!

Had a leak causing mold. Wanted it fixed asap. These guys did a good job. But it was way too much $. I regret not negotiating for a better deal or getting a second opinion.

Conducted inspection of public restroom facilities including examination of three automatic faucet sinks with marble-patterned countertop and wall-mounted urinal system. All plumbing fixtures were verified to be in proper working condition with no visible leaks or functional issues. Confirmed proper operation of flush mechanisms and water supply systems throughout the facility.
Inspected bathroom sink and faucet fixture. Documented condition of chrome single-handle faucet and white porcelain basin. Noted minor wall cracking near backsplash area. No active issues observed with plumbing components.
Inspected water heater exhibiting corrosion and deterioration at tank drain valve connection point. Documented signs of rust and possible water damage where the drain fitting meets the tank body. Photos taken to document current condition for future reference.
Performed inspection and maintenance of bathroom floor drain. Removed drain cover to access interior components, revealing significant corrosion and mineral buildup around the drain assembly. Identified a blue pipe fitting within the drain housing that required attention. Documentation photos captured the condition of the drain system and surrounding floor area for service records.
Inspected wall junction and plumbing fixture showing signs of moisture damage. Documented condition of float valve assembly with red cap and adjacent drain pipe. Observed possible mineral deposits or early mold formation on textured surface near pipe conduit.
Performed leak detection inspection at customer's residence during renovation work. Located water intrusion source behind drywall near the Bradford White Eco Defender water heater installation. Created access openings in wall to inspect copper supply lines and identified pinhole leak in pipe fitting. Repaired affected section and verified system integrity before closing inspection.
Responded to water leak in utility area. Inspected insulated black pipe system showing signs of water damage at connection points. Replaced damaged pipe fitting, resealed connections, and verified system integrity through pressure testing. All pipes now functioning properly with no signs of leakage.
Inspected outdoor plumbing installation consisting of a large white cylindrical tank with connected black insulated pipes and copper manifold system. Documented significant oxidation and verdigris formation on copper components. Photographed installation to record current condition of valves, fittings and pipe insulation for assessment of weathering and potential maintenance needs.
Performed leak detection investigation on a wall cavity with suspected water intrusion. Cut inspection access hole revealing copper pipes with visible T-joint/elbow connections. Documented extensive water damage including deteriorated wooden framing elements, significant mold growth, and moisture-affected insulation. Source of leak appears to be at pipe junction point where severe deterioration was observed.
Excavated trench to access and inspect the exterior plumbing system consisting of multiple PVC supply lines with associated valves. Documented condition of the aging distribution system, noting visible weathering, mineral deposits and minor corrosion on metal valve components where the main line branches to multiple distribution points.
Completed installation of a comprehensive water treatment system in an unfinished utility area. Installed a primary water filtration tank with digital control head alongside a complementary brine tank/water softener, connecting both units to the existing plumbing and electrical systems. System was properly secured and tested to ensure optimal water quality and treatment functionality.
Both bathrooms for units 8A and 8B were backing up. Cleared clog via roof access. Followed with camera inspection and found large root intrusion in sewer main for both units. Located issue under sidewalk in the back of the units. Strongly recommend digging up damaged section of piping and performing repair to avoid future issues as well as adding mainline cleanout. Due to the amount of turns and access I was unable to get my camera past this location to further inspect sewer line. Tenants will continue to experience clogs until issue is addressed
Hydrojetted area drain and removed large amounts of dirt and rocks. Performed inspection and found that several of the drains located in the backyard were either broken or backgraded leading to issues of flooding when a heavy rain occurs. Recommend digging up and replacing approximately 50’ of area drains in backyard. Also recommend diverting rain gutters directly into its own drain and adding another 4 drains in backyard to catch run off from backyard.
Upon arrival I found customer has a pin hole leak in their existing copper pipe right before it entered down into the unit. We previously replaced approximately 40’ of copper pipe on the roof up until where the shut off valve is seen in the photo. Due to the previous history of issues on this section of piping I recommend replacement of pipe from 90 located at the roof all the way down to where the pine ties into the circulating pump. This run is approximately 20’ in length. In order to perform replacement we will need to remove the water proofing located around the pipe to remove the old pipe and install the new pipe. We can attempt to add new sealant around protrusion through roof but recommend having customers roofing contractor come out and properly seal.
