Customer wishes to have estimate for the following -repairing leaking connection between pvc and galvanized in front of the home - repairing leaking kitchen drain and damaged cabinet base - repairing leaking shower head - properly securing water heater venting with screws
Customer has several plumbing issues throughout the property that they would like addressed and a few issues that were recommended to be addressed. Items that need to be addressed are as follows - repairing leaking connection between pvc and galvanized in front of the home - repairing leaking kitchen drain and damaged cabinet base - repairing leaking shower head - properly securing water heater venting with screws Items that where suggested but not required are as follows - replacing of gas flex line for water heater - replacing existing gate valve for water heater (gate valve is not leaking and is up to code) inspector recommended replacing with new brass ball valve -
Customer wishes to have plumbing and electrical added to location in garage to allow for dryer and washer machine hook ups. Ran plumbing and electrical for washer and dryer in garage
Customer had a second water heater in home that is almost 20 years old leaking from the base. Installed new 40 gallon Bradford white water heater near garage
Appears customers wax ring has failed for upstairs toilet causing water damage to ceiling and walls In garage. Recommended pulling toilet and replacing wax ring
Upon arrival customer had kitchen sink drains disconnected. Snaked drain via stub out for kitchen sink. Snake kept diverting up the wall into the vent. Was able to run camera and clear clog with the camera. Customer had large amounts of sludge in drain. Recommended doing roof access so I could better clean out the drain with the snake. Customer did not want to spend the extra money for roof access. Connected drains under sink and ran water for several minutes and everything was draining fine. Customers drain for right side of sink was to long and was not able to properly connect. Customer stated they will trim the tubular drains and connect.
Customer had already had a mitigation company out to do the remediation. Did not find any spots that had moisture
Inspected the water heater snd found it was leaking. Water heater needs to be replaced. Replaced customers 50 gallon water heater and added sediment trap as well as expansion tank. Also installed customer supplied kitchen faucet. Removed old caulking around sink and added new caulking
Snaked customers sewer line from cleanout in front yard. Customer had a very large root intrusion under curb between street and sidewalk as well as a section I could not get past with my camera a few feet past that. Recommended digging up sewer line in front yard before it enters under sidewalk to give us better access for snaking to try and clear the clog. Once clog is clear a price for epoxy lining can be given.
