Snaked master shower drain in order to remove clog for bathtub and shower. Removed large amounts of hair.
Snaked customers tub drain via overflow and cleared clog. Customers trip lever for overflow was broken and sitting inside drain. Recommended replacement of overlfow to prevent future clogs
When I arrived to tenants unit and inspected the bathroom shower. There was a good amount of standing water in the tub. So I snaked it through the overflow and pulled out a decent amount of hair. Recommended the tenant to get a better strainer to catch the hair before entering the drain.
After inspecting the shower it appears that there was no pressure at all. It is possible that the original shower cartridge is what was causing a blockage and not allowing water to come out of the shower. I Replaced the old cartridge with a new cartridge and after that there was full pressure established back to the shower. If water pressure begins to lower again then the next recommendation would be to replace the shower valve.
Inspected under customers kitchen sink and did not see any active leaks. Ran water in each side of sink for several minutes, as well as filling up each sink and letting drain. Did not see any leaks in drain system. Inspected supply lines, and angle stops under sink and did not see any leaks.
Opened drywall behind customers Roman tub valve to find that a steel braided supply line had ruptured and was leaking water causing water damage to bathroom, kitchen and surrounding walls. Replaced supply line in order to fix leak. While was is open I recommend replacing the other existing supply lines and Roman tub valve to keep from having future issues. Also strongly recommend performing proper water damage mitigation to prevent further damage to residence.
Returned to install the water heater that was temporarily connected after the repipe so the walls could be patched by the customer.
Customer had large amounts of toilet paper clogging the toilet. Was able to use toilet auger in order to clear clog. Flushed toilet several times after and everything was draining fine.
