The customer requested a proposal for a whole house repipe of his potable water system, abandoning the underground copper system to be replaced using all new Uponor brand PEX pipe and fittings. There will be some copper used for the repipe however, it will be minimal and only used for wall protrusions. All copper will be type L copper. There will be mold mitigation occurring prior to the repipe commencing. We will coordinate with Twin Home Experts regarding the work scope. During the work to complete the repipe we determined that the water heater was close to the end of its “life”. The customer requested it to be replaced. We also saw that the shower valves in each bathroom were older. Customer requested that we replace 4 of the 5 valves and that we install a new valve he had already purchased for the north central bathroom with polished bras trim.
