Upon arrival customers flo sensor valve was shut off. After inspecting her water service meter, it was determined that she did not have a leak. After calling customer service I was suggested that the battery that powers the system more than likely needed to be replaced. My recommendation would to start off by replacing the battery for the system and if that doesn’t resolve the issue then more configuration will be needed to determine the problem.
After a inspecting the customers kitchen faucet, I was confident that he needed a new cartridge. Unfortunately it will need to be need to be ordered in because it is a special part. Will need to give customer a new quote once I get more information from supplier on the part cost. Also gave the customer the option to replace the kitchen faucet. Customer also wanted me to take a look at the guest bathroom toilet, it was determined that nothing seemed to be wrong with toilet. But I did recommend him that I could only replace his toilet because the tank is attached to the toilet and would not be able to replace the internal parts. Customer said he would discuss it with his wife and get back to us.
Performed leak detection to customers pvc water line that fills his pool. Did not locate any leaks in line from valve by pool equipment to fill valve. Customer did have large amounts of roots from fill valve to pool. About a 2’ section. Snaked pvc line and removed all roots. I believe roots were growing in from hole that was in the fill valve box. Recommend replacing fill valve box.
