Furnace stopped working yesterday (Sunday). Came home early today to do some troubleshooting. On the phone with Nest as I was getting an error message. Unable to fix it with them. Called Sears and Joel was here within 90 minutes. Found the issue quickly and explained the numerous ways a furnace can shut itself down. Had me back up and running within an hour. 15 year old furnace will probably need replaced sooner rather than later and I’ll be calling Sears.

Replaced condenser motor and capacitor on RHEEM AC
Completed annual maintenance on a 2013 Bryant air conditioner. All mechanical components of the system checked out at this time. During testing of the unit the technician observed the voltage enhancement system just within manufacture specifications. Technician also recommended surge protector due to recent power outages and power surges in the area. Technician presented options HB7 a-e. Customer stated she will talk it over with her son and get back with the office about setting up an appointment at a later time.
Inspected gas water heater for noise concern
Replaced plugged furnace filter, removed vegetation around condenser
Conducted annual maintenance on a 1993 Bryant air conditioner. All mechanical components of the system check out at this time. Upon inspection of the unit the technician found the disconnect box to be loose and falling from the building. The customer stated he was aware of the issue and did not want to complete any repair due to the age of the unit and the type of refrigerant it uses no longer being available. Technician also spoke to customer about adding a surge protector to the unit to which the customer tonight at this time.
Ac maintenance today, changed failing capacitor and cleaned unit. All systems operating at this time.
