The blower motor in a Trane XV95 furnace was found to be broken during routine maintenance. The motor was not running, causing the system to blow cold air. I ordered a replacement Trane 5-speed blower motor and secured the necessary parts for installation. Once the motor arrives, I will replace it, ensuring proper airflow and system function before testing the entire furnace for optimal performance.
Completed furnace maintenance on a Rheem Classic Series system. I replaced the old, clogged air filter with a new 16x25x1 filter to improve airflow and system efficiency. The burner assembly was cleaned, and the heat exchanger was inspected for any cracks. The blower motor was lubricated, and the system was tested to ensure proper heating and airflow throughout the home.
Performed a furnace repair on a 15-year-old Carrier Comfort Series unit. The furnace was cycling on and off, so I inspected the ignition system and found the flame sensor was corroded.
