I replaced an indoor blower motor for a customer whose HVAC system was not circulating air properly. After troubleshooting, I determined that the motor had failed due to worn bearings and overheating. I safely removed the faulty motor and installed a new, compatible replacement. I also inspected the capacitor to ensure it was functioning correctly and verified that the motor's wiring and connections were secure. Once the replacement was complete, I tested the system to confirm proper airflow and operation. Before leaving, I advised the customer on the importance of regular filter changes and system maintenance to prevent future motor strain and prolong equipment lifespan.
