Fall pm on 12/19/19 On arrival set unit to call for heat measured supply and return air temp measured voltage and amps inspected electrical connections checked drain checked air filter checked blower motor checked compressor capacitor checked coil checked EWP and LWP also water temp also I sanded the flame rectification probe and checked burner arrangement the ignitor homes out to be in good condition checked all other electrical connections DT 45.2 unit made temp rise 30-60 unit tested unit operating normal at this time. Recommended duct cleaning uv lights installation and single or hole house surge protector needs to be installed to avoid future problems.
I checked the air filter. Customer needs to order a box of 28*30*2 filters. I checked the electrical wiring and electrical systems, including the auxiliary heat strips and all are within specification. I reset blower speeds to factory settings 2,5,7,10 from 2,7,9,10. This will blow warmer air from the unit. I operated the unit on second stage heating mode and recorded 25-30 degree temperature rise across the air coil. I set the flow rate to 3.5psi pressure drop so I could calculate heat of extraction and compare it to printed data. Heat of extraction is 28,000+ btu/hr which is better than printed data. Unit operating normal. Customer and I talked about a few accessories including a humidifier, surge protector and a WiFi thermostat for the geo unit. I sent estimates for all.
Up on arrival made access panel to take manual damper out, patch access panel back up . Customer paid last time tech was here .

I pressurized the ground loop to 65psi. I vacuumed the EAC pre filters and reset the led panels. I checked the electrical wiring and electrical systems, including auxiliary heat strips, all are within specification except for the voltage absorption system for unit #1, which was replaced. I operated the units on second stage heating mode and recorded 25+ degrees delta temperatures across the air coil and normal heat of extraction. Both units are operating normal. Found no issues with vent pipe. While there I gave options for a uv light install since there experiencing some impurities in the water still after there filtration system. Also gave a sales lead request form and a membership form. They were thinking of a geothermal unit installation. They also have a gas powered tankless water heater installed which is why I recommended our service agreement.
