Found bad condenser fan motor. Replaced with new 1/8hp 825 rpm motor.
Upon arrival I grated the customer and started my work. Soon found that the system was off on a low pressure switch. But soon after unlocking it, system came on fine. Adjusted the charge, system a little over charged. System operating normally at this time.
Arrived to perform maintenance on clients unit. Sprayed a coil cleaner and added algicide tablets to coils to help kill bacteria and break down any sludge that may be in the drain line. Home is being supplied with 93 degrees and rising. Filter is clean (14x30). Tested 35/5 dual run capacitor:(35/5.3). Checked refrigerant levels and they are where they need to be. Inspected low and high voltage wiring. All wires are tight and in good shape and getting the correct amperage. Tested unit in defrost mode and it functioned properly. Gave the unit a good wax coating to help prolong the lifespan of it. At this time system is functioning well.
Checked unit bad wiring and bad thermostat. Replaced thermostat. Need to return to run new tstat wire.
