Massively disappointing

Bryan was unfriendly and dismissive of the homeowners and certainly did not want to do business with us. His estimate was not filled in.

Saved the day!!

We woke up to a shower knob that wouldn’t turn off. Jose was there in about 20 minutes! He quickly assessed the problem and finding the correct part to fix it. Everything was fixed that morning. He was polite, courteous and very helpful!! This is a great plumbing company!!

Great Reps and great service

Ever since we purchased our HVAC unit back in Dec. 2018, we have signed up for the Maintenance contract which Thompson comes out to service twice a year, once for the heater and once for the air conditioner. The service reps that have come out are knowledgeable, efficient, and kind reps. Today, we had Chris and Will (apprentice). We have had Ty in the past as well! All good guys! Thank you Thompson!

Ran a pressure test of the house and also a pressure test of the Watermain found no leak pressure test was holding. I even checked at the meter and I used my gauge and I inspected all around. I do see some staining in the garage, but that might be from prior.

20+ y.o clients called us out today due to AC not properly cooling home. Systems are operational upon arrival but no cooling from vents. usually an indication of a failed secondary motor control or refrigerant leak. Secondary motor control failed on compressor side pulling zero out of 80 µF. Replaced component and cycled system. System is now operational and cooling the home. Advised clients be wary of major repairs going forward due to the age of the system. Clients are interested in getting plumber out to look at leak in garage. Clients called us out today due to no cooling for downstairs. Cycled cooling. No airflow whatsoever getting to downstairs. System is a 3 1/2 ton on a 3500 square-foot home 2 zone. Upstairs zone works fine and is properly cooling. Inspected condenser, secondary motor control is within spec. Hooked up refrigerant gauges and found pressures to be in manufacturer specifications, this would indicate there is an issue with the damper for the downstairs. Client stated home inspector was having issues with damper as well. Zoning board is sending proper voltage to damper but no movement. This would indicate the damper is the issue and would need to be replaced. Parts house is closed. Will reach out on Monday. Open stucco above front door to find three-quarter copper pipe leaking had to cut out section and repair. Turn back water on and test fittings. I did suggest a whole house pipe because of the age and the piping is not good and everything is corroded

Came out to check for a water leak and after investigation I found it’s in the irrigation line that feeds the auto fill for the pool so I shut that off and that stop the leak. The owner is a landscaper and they will replace it.

Client called us out today due to no cooling coming from AC. Outdoor condenser is operational upon arrival. Usually an indication of a secondary motor control failing or a refrigerant leak. Found secondary motor control was pulling a 5 out of 45 µF. Client has agreed to move forward with replacing failed component. Replaced component and cycled system. Did not have standard component, so upgraded client to turbo at the price of the standard. System is now operational and cooling the home. Getting a 15 to 16° split. Thompson plumbing replaced three-quarter inch pressure regulator and shut off valve in front of house. Also replaced delta single handle cartridge in master standup shower and installed customer supplied 8 inch widespread in master bathroom on left side sink. Turned water back on check for leaks no leaks found. Cleaned up work area took pictures. Payment by check #2289 Spoke directly with homeowner 1 year warranty on pressure regulator and isolation valve No warranty on shower cartridge and faucet Pictures attached No recommendation

For this job we installed 2 new laundry bibs in the garage. Once the new ones were welded on to the copper pipe I turned on the water and checked for leaks. No leaks were found.

No cooling, upon arrival I turned on cooling at the thermostat. Cooling functioned. Checked ss2 switch and condensate pump and both are fully operational. Conversation with tenant showed that the set temp needed to be adjusted in order for the system to turn on as the set temp was 78 and the thermostat indoor temp was 78. Walked tenant through thermostat operation.

Client called us out today due to no cooling for mini split utilized by three separate apartments. Hooked up refrigerant gauges and found pressure to be 1/3 of what manufacturers recommend. This would indicate a refrigerant leak somewhere on the line set or one of the heads. Client agreed to refrigerant leak search. Found leak on head system in unit four. Office will write up estimate for Fujitsu 7K head and refrigerant. Waived leak search after finding leak in less than 15 minutes and clients past projects with us.
