Found system not cooling due to old batteries being installed on the thermostat. Installed new batteries and got system to begin to run. While I was here I found a contactor that was failing that we went ahead and replaced for the customer. I also found that the pressures on the system were extremely high, airflow was slightly restricted but not enough to cause such a high discharge pressure. I found a restricted filter drier and the customer told me she had the coil cleaned about a year back and it’s showing symptoms that a proper vacuum was not pulled on the system. Moving forward I am emailing an estimate over for a new filter drier installed that will include blowing nitrogen through the line set and pulling a proper vacuum on the system. System is cooling at this time.
