Trane unit #1 Upon arrival customer showed me and air handler in the garage that needed tuned up. Checked for proper amp and voltage. Cleared condensate line with nitrogen, vac and water. The evap coil is clean. The evap coil pan is rusted and falling apart. Went to the condenser and checked for proper amp and voltage. The contactor had some pitting to it and the capacitor was reading low. We also have a 14 degree split. Customer does don’t want to throw money into a 25 year old system. Mention to customer we can come out tomorrow to give and estimate. She said she will call in the morning to schedule a time after she talks to her husband.
