Upon arrival customer shower me an ac unit in the closet that needed tuned up. The evap coil is dirty Cleared the condensate line with shop vac and water. Checked all amps and volts. Found a lot of microbial growth in the air handler. Recommend a pure air x and customer declined at this time. Went out to the condenser and checked all amps and volt. Found a contactor that was Pitting. Recommend replacing the contactor and customer Declined at this time. Found the 45/5 capacitor below factory specs. I recommend replacing and customer declined at this time. Also recommend to customer to add a surge protector on the disconnect box to protect the condenser. Customer did not want to sign up for membership till she talks to her husband. Recommend getting a quote on replacement and customer wants to wait till she talk to her husband.
