Upon arrival to scheduled system maintenance I was shown to a split system with an A/H located in the garage. Immediately pulled panel doors to inspect all electrical components connections, collect electrical readings and check the evaporator coil for cleanliness. Evaporator coil is clean with pictures uploaded to ST. All electrical components connections are secure and all readings are running within range of factory specifications. Collected a temperature differential in the cooling and heating modes and had over a 21° Delta T. Spoke to the homeowner about the systems impacted blower wheel which is cutting down the system’s efficiency significantly. I highly recommended pulling this wheel and having it cleaned to ensure less loss in the system’s efficiency. Homeowner agreed and would like the cleaning to be scheduled for the second week of January.
